we do it all to drench your thirst
we want it all to fill our lust
we never want to be the last
we pour our soul into the tank
to fuel the racing car of life
to fill the page not leave it blank
we turn the race into a strife
but what we fail to understand
is that we shouldn't race at all
life's a journey of the land
not a race to gain it all
